HMS 1 & 2, Shredded Steel and Cast Iron Exporter from Rotterdam
Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. supplies bulk ferrous scrap from Rotterdam — HMS 1 & 2 (80:20 and 70:30), shredded steel, busheling, rail scrap, plate & structural (P&S 5 ft), and cast iron — to EAF and induction-furnace operators in Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia and the GCC. We load bulk vessels of 25,000–50,000 t and containerized parcels for landlocked or mini-mill buyers.
All ferrous lots are classified against ISRI 200-series circular benchmarks — ISRI 200/201 (HMS 1), 202/203 (HMS 2), 210/211 (shredded), 207 (P&S), 220–223 (cast iron) and 232 (rail crops). Maximum dimensions for HMS are 1.5 m × 0.5 m × 0.5 m at minimum 6 mm wall thickness; oversized prep is available on charter terms.

Rotterdam Logistics
Bulk vessel loadings of HMS and shredded run at Rotterdam Botlek/Maasvlakte terminals with 10,000–25,000 t per day pour rates. Container loadings average 27–28 t for HMS solids and 28–29 t for shredded due to bulk density.
Packaging
Bulk vessels: loose loaded grab-discharge ready. Containers: loose loaded with steel hoarding boards and dunnage; rail crops shipped on FR flat-racks with steel chain securing.
Inspection Standards
SGS / Bureau Veritas / Cotecna / Intertek pre-shipment inspection covering radioactivity scan (per IAEA recommendations), bulk-density check, photo dossier of representative samples and weight tally certificate. Sealed sources, military munitions and closed containers are rejected at the gate.

What is the radiation policy?
Every truck entering our yard is radiation-monitored; vessel and container loadings are re-scanned on departure. Radiation rejection rights apply.
Bulk or container — which is cheaper?
Bulk vessel CFR is typically cheaper per ton above 25,000 t; below that, containers are more flexible and faster to deploy.
Do you supply mixed HMS 80:20 or 70:30?
Both ratios are available; 80:20 is the global benchmark; 70:30 is supplied on request for specific induction-furnace buyers.
Payment terms on bulk vessels?
Standard is 100% irrevocable LC at sight against shipping documents; CAD against scan copies is negotiable for repeat buyers.
