    European Copper Scrap Supplier — Millberry, Berry, Birch/Cliff and ICW

    Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. supplies bare bright copper wire, ISRI Millberry (Barley), Berry (Candy), Birch/Cliff #2 and insulated copper wire (ICW) to copper rod mills, brass mills, granulators and refiners worldwide. Our copper feedstock originates from European cable strippers, electrical contractors, transformer rebuilders and HVAC stripping operations.

    All Millberry consignments are confirmed at minimum 99.90% Cu by XRF and OES analysis, with no tin coating, no insulation residue and no oxidation. Berry/Candy is supplied as #1 copper turnings and chops with a copper content above 96%, while Birch/Cliff covers #2 copper wire and tubing with light tinning or oxidation accepted up to spec.

    Container payloads range from 23 t (bare bright loose) to 26 t (Millberry compressed bales). Heavy-density Birch/Cliff loads at 24–25 t per 20-ft GP. Loading photos and tally sheets are issued daily during the loading window.

    Packaging

    Millberry is packed in 1-tonne big bags with internal liners; cathode plates ship banded on hardwood pallets; ICW is delivered loose or in 1.2-m³ bulk bags; granules are sealed in 25-kg PE-lined drums or super-sacks.

    Inspection Standards

    Every container is PSI-inspected by SGS, Bureau Veritas, Cotecna or Intertek with XRF copper content, weight tally, photographic record and moisture verification before release.

    Millberry is guaranteed at 99.90% Cu minimum, with rejection rights if XRF on arrival shows below 99.85%.

    Can you supply long-term copper scrap contracts?

    Yes — we offer 6 and 12-month volume contracts referenced to the LME copper Grade A settlement minus an agreed discount.

    Do you accept letters of credit?

    We accept irrevocable LCs at sight from prime banks, plus 30% TT advance / 70% LC against shipping documents.

    Is ICW segregated by recovery rate?

    Yes — we segregate ICW into 65%, 75% and 85% recovery streams, each with a separate XRF certificate.
