Why buyers source scrap metal from the Netherlands

The Netherlands is Europe's logistics gateway. Rotterdam is the continent's largest seaport, with weekly direct sailings to every major industrial market. Dutch collection and recycling infrastructure is among the most regulated and traceable in the world — material moves under licence, with EUR.1, EU Annex VII waste-shipment documents and full HS Code classification. For Asian and Middle-Eastern buyers, sourcing from the Netherlands means predictable chemistry, predictable shipping schedules and predictable customs clearance.

    Our product range

We export across four metal families. Copper: Millberry (Barley), Berry, Birch/Cliff, copper wire, insulated copper cable. Aluminum: UBC (Talc), 6063 (Tata), 6061, Taint/Tabor, Tense, Troma wheels, A7 ingots. Brass: Honey clean brass, mixed brass solids, brass turnings. Stainless: 304, 316 and 316L. Every grade is offered to written ISRI Circular specification with chemistry on request.

    Rotterdam loading capabilities

Our yard sits with direct gate access to ECT, APMT and RWG container terminals. We load 20'GP and 40'HC containers for non-ferrous grades and break-bulk for high-volume ferrous and UBC cargoes. A calibrated 60-tonne weighbridge confirms net loaded weight; high-security bolt seals are applied and the seal numbers printed on the packing list and bill of lading. Booking lead time from contract signature to loaded vessel is 7–14 days subject to grade availability.

    Documentation and regulatory compliance

Every shipment ships with commercial invoice, packing list, weighbridge tickets, photo dossier, bill of lading, EUR.1 movement certificate (where applicable), EU Annex VII waste-shipment document (non-OECD destinations), and a third-party inspection certificate on request. We comply with EU Regulation 1013/2006 and the Basel Convention. Destination-specific certificates — BIS for India, CCIC for China, TSE for Turkey, SASO for Saudi Arabia — are arranged where the importing country requires them.

    Pricing methodology

Copper offers reference the LME 3-month Copper Grade A settlement. Aluminum offers reference LME Aluminium High Grade (P1020A) cash. Brass blends LME copper and zinc. Stainless trades against a nickel reference with a moly adder for 316. Every quotation shows the LME date used, the discount applied and the resulting USD per tonne — no hidden markups. Rolling contracts use a monthly LME average to remove daily volatility.

    Sailing schedule and destination markets

Weekly direct sailings cover Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chittagong, Port Klang, Ho Chi Minh, Haiphong, Busan, Shanghai, Tianjin, Mersin, Jebel Ali, Dar es Salaam, Mombasa and Houston.
