    Copper Scrap Supplier for India

Premium copper scrap — Millberry, Berry, Birch, Cliff and Candy — exported directly to Indian copper rod plants, brass mills and secondary smelters under firm LC and SGS PSIC.

Copper Scrap Supply Line to India

India consumes around 1.6 million tonnes of refined copper per year, but local mine output covers less than 5% of demand. Imported copper scrap fills the gap for rod plants, transformer-grade wire manufacturers, brass mills and electrical conductor producers — and Indian buyers are among the most disciplined inspectors in the global market.

Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. supplies Millberry, Berry, Birch/Cliff and Candy grades, sourced from European utilities, cable manufacturers and electrical contractors. Every container is XRF-verified, moisture-controlled and PSIC-certified before sailing.

We do not blend, we do not over-classify, and we do not pad weights. The grade on the invoice is the grade in the container — verified at loading by SGS, BV, Intertek or CCIC at your choice.

Designed for Indian copper rod plants, transformer wire makers, brass mills, secondary copper smelters and IEC-registered scrap importers.

    India Importing Considerations

    • Copper scrap enters India under HS 7404.00 — currently 2.5% BCD + 18% IGST.
    • PSIC mandatory under Hazardous & Other Wastes Rules; SGS/BV/Intertek/CCIC accepted.
    • DGFT occasionally issues benchmark price alerts on Millberry — we provide reference invoices to support valuation.
    • IEC + MoEFCC registration required at the buyer's end.
    • LC payment terms strongly preferred for first 3 shipments; CAD acceptable thereafter.
