    Aluminum Scrap Supplier for India

Direct Dutch-origin aluminum scrap supply to Indian secondary smelters, alloy ingot makers and extrusion recyclers — CIF JNPT/Mundra/Chennai with SGS pre-shipment certification on every container.

Aluminum Scrap Supply Line to India

Indian aluminum recyclers consume more than 4.5 million tonnes of secondary aluminum every year, and the country is now one of the largest seaborne importers of aluminum scrap on the planet. Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. supplies Indian buyers directly from our Rotterdam-based yard in container loads of 22–25 MT, with consistent ISRI grading and lab-verified chemistry.

We work with foundries in Bhiwadi, Faridabad, Jamnagar and Coimbatore, alloy ingot plants in Gujarat and Maharashtra, and extrusion recyclers across Tamil Nadu and Haryana. Every shipment is documented for BIS, customs and DGFT compliance so your container clears Indian customs without delays at the CHA stage.

Pricing is benchmarked to LME plus a transparent treatment charge, with quotes typically valid for 5 working days against firm LC or 30% TT advance. We do not split-bill, we do not change packing list weights mid-voyage, and we provide loading-photo proof for every booking number.

This page is written for Indian importers, secondary aluminum smelters, ingot manufacturers, extrusion recyclers and IEC-holding trading houses that buy by the container or by the vessel and need a clean, repeatable European supply line.

    India Importing Considerations

    • Customs duty on aluminum scrap (HS 7602.00) into India is currently 2.5% BCD plus IGST 18% — confirm with your CHA against the latest DGFT notification.
    • Pre-Shipment Inspection Certificate (PSIC) is mandatory under the Hazardous & Other Wastes Rules — Nautica issues a PSIC-compatible SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek report at loading.
    • An IEC (Importer Exporter Code) and MoEFCC registration for scrap import are mandatory for the buyer of record.
    • All packing lists, BL and invoices must show NMD-free, radiation-free declarations to avoid container hold at Indian ports.
    • Letter of Credit must be issued from a SWIFT-enabled Indian scheduled bank; UCP 600 terms are standard.
