Local mine supply is nil and primary refined copper imports carry higher freight and duty than scrap, which is why disciplined European Millberry and Berry remain the preferred feedstock for top Bangladeshi rod mills and cable plants.

We prefer long-term annual contracts of 10–60 containers a year tied to LME copper cash settlement, with monthly nominations and quarterly TC reviews. First shipments are happy to run on a single trial container.
