Compressor Scrap Exporter
Used HVAC, refrigeration, and air conditioning compressor scrap supplied for copper, cast iron, and steel recovery. Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. provides degassed and drained compressor units exported from the Port of Rotterdam to recycling plants and smelters worldwide.

What Is Compressor Scrap?
Compressor scrap consists of used and end-of-life compressor units collected from HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, air conditioning units, and industrial cooling systems. These sealed units contain a combination of copper motor windings, cast iron housings, steel components, and aluminum.
Before recycling, compressors must be properly degassed to remove refrigerants (R-22, R-134a, R-410A) in compliance with environmental regulations. The oil is also drained and disposed of responsibly. Once degassed and drained, compressor scrap becomes a valuable multi-metal recycling feedstock.
The copper content (10–18% by weight) is the primary value driver, recovered from the internal motor windings. The cast iron housing (40–55%) is recycled at foundries and steel mills. Modern compressors may also contain aluminum components that add to the overall recovery value.
Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. sources compressor scrap from HVAC contractors, appliance recyclers, and demolition projects across Europe. All units are properly degassed, drained, and documented before export to comply with international shipping regulations.
