Aluminum Scrap 6063 Supplier
Premium aluminum 6063 extrusion scrap sourced from European architectural and construction industries. Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. delivers clean, sorted aluminum 6063 profiles to smelters and recycling plants across Asia, Middle East, and worldwide.

What Is Aluminum 6063 Scrap?
Aluminum 6063 scrap consists of clean extrusion profiles, window frames, door sections, curtain wall components, and architectural aluminum that has been sorted and prepared for recycling. The 6063 alloy (Al-Mg-Si) is one of the most widely used aluminum alloys in the construction industry.
This alloy contains approximately 97.5% aluminum, with small additions of magnesium (0.45–0.9%) and silicon (0.2–0.6%) that give it excellent extrudability, good surface finish, and moderate strength. These properties make 6063 scrap highly valued by secondary smelters for producing new extrusion billets.
Recycling aluminum 6063 saves up to 95% of the energy required to produce primary aluminum from bauxite ore. This enormous energy saving makes aluminum one of the most sustainable metals for circular economy applications, and 6063 scrap commands premium prices in the recycling market.
Nautica Metal Scrap B.V. sources 6063 extrusion scrap from demolition projects, window manufacturers, and construction waste processors across Europe. Each shipment is sorted, cleaned, and prepared to meet the quality requirements of our buyers in Asia and the Middle East.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is aluminum 6063 scrap?
Aluminum 6063 scrap consists of clean extrusion profiles — window frames, door sections, architectural components — made from the 6063 (Al-Mg-Si) alloy. It's one of the most commonly recycled aluminum alloys.
What is the HS Code for aluminum 6063 scrap?
Aluminum 6063 extrusion scrap is classified under HS Code 7602.00 for aluminum waste and scrap.
What grades of 6063 scrap do you supply?
We supply clean (uncoated), painted, and anodized 6063 extrusion profiles, sorted and separated by type for optimal recycling value.
Container Loading Capacity
Loaded weight per container is calculated on a calibrated 60-tonne weighbridge at our Rotterdam yard. Photographs and bridge tickets accompany every shipment for aluminum 6063 extrusion scrap.

Quality Assurance Process
- 1
Gate inspection
Inbound trucks weighed and visually graded against ISRI master samples before unloading.
- 2
Yard re-sort
Material re-sorted by alloy family, photographed lot-by-lot, and segregated to grade-specific bays.
- 3
Magnet & XRF check
Magnetic separation removes ferrous contamination; XRF spot-checks confirm alloy chemistry.
- 4
Pre-load audit
Container floor lined, weight target confirmed, stuffing sequence photographed with timestamps.
- 5
Third-party inspection
SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, CCIC or TÜV inspect on buyer request before bill-of-lading release.
- 6
Seal & document
High-security bolt seal applied; seal number printed on packing list, B/L and inspection certificate.
SGS & Intertek Inspection
Pre-shipment inspection is arranged at the loading point on the buyer's request. SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, CCIC and TÜV are all welcome at our Rotterdam yard — the buyer instructs the inspector directly and we invoice the cost at actual.
The inspector observes stuffing, draws representative samples for XRF or wet-lab analysis, photographs the loaded container, witnesses the seal application and issues the inspection certificate prior to bill-of-lading release. Destination-mandated certificates (BIS for India, CCIC for China, TSE for Turkey) are arranged where required.
Shipping & Logistics
Loading takes place at our Rotterdam yard with direct gate access to ECT, APMT and RWG terminals. Weekly direct sailings cover Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Typical transit times below are indicative — exact ETAs are confirmed on each booking.

Buyer FAQ
Is the 6063 painted or anodised?
We supply Tata (clean unpainted 6063 extrusion) by default. Tutu (painted/anodised mixed 6063) is offered as a separate grade at a discount.
What is the typical Mg/Si content?
Approximately 0.45–0.9% Mg and 0.2–0.6% Si, consistent with 6063 architectural extrusion alloy. Full chemistry available on request.
Can we receive cut-to-length material?
Yes. Standard cut length is under 600 mm to fit billet caster charge wells. Custom cut sizes are available subject to volume.
Do you supply 6061 as well?
Yes — see our dedicated 6061 page. 6063 and 6061 are offered as separate cargoes to protect downstream billet chemistry.
What is the source of your 6063 extrusion scrap?
Window/curtain-wall fabricators, solar-frame producers and press-drop from Dutch, German and Belgian extrusion mills. All sources are audited and provide origin declarations.
Do bolts, gaskets or thermal breaks come through?
No. Bolts and steel fasteners are removed at yard sort; thermal-break polyamide strips are separated on a dedicated line so the delivered material is metal-only.
What LME percentage should we expect for 6063 Tata?
Clean unpainted Tata trades at 82–86% of LME primary aluminum, CIF Asian port. Painted Tutu drops to 74–78% because of paint burn-off losses in the furnace.
How is 6063 verified against 6061 during sorting?
PMI (Positive Material Identification) with handheld XRF confirms Mg 0.45–0.9% and Si 0.2–0.6% for 6063. Any lot showing Mg ≥ 0.8% + Si ≥ 0.4% + Cu ≥ 0.15% is re-classified as 6061.
Can we receive it as press-drop billet crop?
Yes — press-drop and butt crop is offered as a separate premium sub-grade since chemistry is virgin and grain structure is uniform. Priced 3–5 percentage points above sorted extrusion.
What is the maximum monthly volume of 6063?
300–450 MT/month is available against firm annual contracts, split roughly 70% Tata and 30% Tutu.
Do you offer briquetted 6063 turnings?
6063 turnings and swarf are baled/briquetted separately from solid extrusion since the surface area drives higher oxide loss. Different cargo, different quote.
Which destination ports handle 6063 best?
Mundra and Nhava Sheva for India, Ho Chi Minh for Vietnam, Mersin for Turkey, and Jebel Ali for the GCC — all have extrusion recyclers within short trucking distance.
